How to Autopost Your Facebook Posts To Twitter Automatically

AUTO POST ARTCILES FROM FACEBOOK TO TWITTER

Steps.
Posting to Facebook and Twitter can be an important part of our daily business and personal lives, but having to manage two different social media accounts and posting the same information on both can become quite tiresome and time-consuming. There is a way to save time and increase productivity with these two sites by allowing your Facebook posts to automatically post on your Twitter account! This makes your social media life much easier to manage, because:
  • You only need to log in to one social media account, while being able to post to both simultaneously.
  • You get to choose which types of Facebook posts that you want to be automatically posted to your Twitter feed.
It is fairly quick and easy to set up auto post of your Facebook posts to Twitter. First, you just need to verify your App and Privacy Settings. Then, go ahead and link your Facebook and Twitter accounts. The following procedures explain how to set up your automatic posts, and how to discontinue them, should you choose to do so later.

Verifying App Settings

Before you can link your Facebook and Twitter accounts, your app platform in Facebook must be turned on. To verify that the platform is turned on:
  1. Log in to your Facebook account.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the Facebook page, click the gear icon.
  3. Select Account Settings from the menu. The General Account Settings page appears.
  4. On the left side of the page, click Apps. The App Settings page appears.
  5. In the Apps you use section, be sure that the platform is set to On. If the platform is set to off, click Edit, then click Turn On Platform.

Verifying Privacy Settings

In order for a Facebook post to be automatically posted to your Twitter feed, the privacy setting for that post must be set to Public. To set your default privacy setting for all future posts to Public using the audience selector tool:
  1. Under Privacy Settings, click Privacy. The Privacy Settings and Tools page appears.
  2. In the Who can see my stuff? section, select Edit next to Who can see your future posts? The audience selector tool appears as a dropdown menu.
  3. From the menu, select Public.
You can also use the audience selector tool to set the privacy setting of an individual post using the audience selector tool:
  1. Enter the update in your status update window.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select Public.
  3. Click Post.
Note: The audience selector tool remembers the privacy setting that you used for your previous post and uses the same setting the next time you share something. So, if your last post was a status update that you set to Public, your next post will also be set to Public unless you change the setting before your post it.
